Rethink 3D effects with AccurioShine 3600

Konica Minolta has today announced the launch of its newest inkjet spot UV coater, AccurioShine 3600, powered by MGI’s innovative varnish technology with Konica Minolta’s reliability to meet the demanding needs of today’s printing requirements.


The AccurioShine 3600 is a compact solution that enables spot UV varnishing and Digital Hot Foiling, from prototyping to full production, without the need for screens, plates or dies. Digital spot UV coating & Digital Hot Foiling adds that extra dimension to any project, helping print outs stand out from the crowd.

 

Built on the success of the MGI JETvarnish 3D One, this equipment has been added to Konica Minolta’s expanding portfolio under its own branding. Konica Minolta collaborated with MGI to improve the already proven technology, which led to further enhancement in the area of Stability, reliability and serviceability.

 

Fully digital, featuring industry-leading artificial intelligence registration technology and an eco-friendly LED curing system, all at an impressively compact size, the AccurioShine 3600 is a ground-breaking technology for adding 2D and 3D gloss effects and as well Digital Hot foiling tactile effect at a reasonable cost without the complicated steps of conventional

systems, allowing printers a range of high-impact finishing effects, while raising profit margins.

 

With a maximum supported paper size of B3+ (364mm x 750mm), the machine is perfect for enhancing commonly used printouts such as name cards, greeting cards, photo book covers, and even packaging on demand, creating an impactful and unique print experience for our customers.

 

The AccurioShine 3600 also supports Variable Data Printing (VDP), adding more impact to tickets, personalized packages and labels, invitations, one-to-one marketing, and the like. With the barcode scanner, one can make job changes as simple as changing a barcode. The AccurioShine 3600’s barcode scanner reads barcodes from a pre-printed sheet and instantly selects the corresponding TIFF file already stored on the workstation. Combining the VDP barcode scanner with the Automatic PDF File Converter provides a truly seamless workflow which takes files from PDF to the output tray in minutes.
